Survey Squad is not a scam website however they have mixed experiences. Both negative as well as positive. Survey Squad is free to join so there is nothing to lose except your precious time. However, you must make sure to withdraw your earnings the instant you hit the minimum cashout requirement to avoid any issue that might be to painful to accept. It is bearable $2 than allowing you earnings to reach $100 and then realize they have gone bankrupt over night.

Great work from home opportunity – great communication between yourself and proofreaders – literally make your own schedule including the number of hours you wish to work and on what days. Are able to review assignments before accepting them, to make sure that you are able to complete them (i.e., some foreign language accents may be difficult for you personally to transcribe accurately).

No real cons about working here. I didn’t expect to move up or get a raise (or to have benefits included) as I worked as an independent contractor and pretty much controlled my own salary by taking on as much or as little work as possible.

My only advice is to invest in better audio receiving equipment – transcribing can happen so much quicker if the audio has little to no distortions – which enables transcribers to take on more files and allows the company to take on more clients without having to hire more independent contractors.

The best piece of advice I could give is to trust that you hired talented people to do their job. Don’t belittle your staff in front of their peers and give people the opportunity to succeed before critiquing their work. Realize that not everyone works the same but that doesn’t mean the product won’t be of great quality.

How do you take an online survey?
When their client sends them a survey, Focus Forward Online will contact those members who they think fit the demographic profile that their client is seeking. All contact will be via e-mail. In the e-mail invitation, there will be a link to the survey and the amount of compensation you will receive if you qualify and complete the survey. The first few questions will be their client’s pre-screen questions. If you pass the pre-screen, you will then move on to the actual survey and be paid for your time.

How long does a survey take to complete?
The time varies from survey to survey. The average time is 15 minutes. Throughout the survey there will be a status bar letting you know what page you are on and the total length of the survey (in pages).
