What is PointsPrizes?
Points Prizes was started in 2016 by Internet entrepreneur Mark Kempton. There are thousands of scam sites that deceive users with the promise of free gift cards and other rewards. Points Prizes says that it is designed to eliminate this problem by providing safe and easy ways to earn prizes online.
Thus, Points Prizes is a GPT site; a rewards platform where you can earn money online by completing simple online tasks. As its name suggests, Points Prizes rewards members who participates in its earning activities with points; but these points can be converted to cash and other prizes. To join sign up to Points Prizes and start earning points, you can visit the website here: www.pointsprizes.com.
Is PointsPrizes legit?
You cannot be too careful when using online platforms, especially rewards site. With some, when you’re just trying to make some extra money, you may end up being ripped off and be out of pocket. Some others may not rip you off but may waste your time in completing offers that it won’t pay you for. That said, the ideal online reward site must be legit, and pay users who complete activities.
Our first check of a legit online rewards platform is legality. This is because platforms that are 100% legal are less likely to be scams. Thankfully, PointsPrizes ticks this box. The reward platform is owned and operated by SAS PointsPrizes, which is a 100% legal French Company registered (registration number: 830 646 766) at the Perpignan Registre du Commerce et des Societes. Suffice it to say that scam stores do not get powered by fully legal companies.
Another check of a legit online reward platform is the test of time. This is because scam stores are relatively short-lived. In this era of fast communication in just a few months, a scamming (or time-wasting) reward platform will be called out; and with such exposure, it will die out. Thankfully, PointsPrizes passes this test of time. It is relatively young, as it established in 2016. However, its three years of existence is more than enough for it to be called out if it were a scam platform.
Another check of a legit online reward platform is visibility and industry-wide recognition. This is because the scam stores operate largely in the shadows. Thankfully, PointsPrizes also ticks this box. First, unlike scam online platforms that mostly operate only virtually, PointsPrizes has a registered office (8 Rue Des Remparts, Le Boulou, 66160, France) which gives it some visibility. Also, its model as a reward site that can be used anonymously makes it a popular choice, such that in its relatively short life span, it has grown to have over 17 million active members. Suffice it to say that a scam platform will not have the trust of so many industry followers.
However, the ultimate check of a legit online rewards platform is fitness for purpose. The purpose of a reward site is to provide earning opportunities for persons to earn some extra money online, and only a legit platform will actually pay persons that participate. Thankfully, Points Prizes ticks this box; it provides different ways to earn, as it sends out prizes daily to members that completes earning activities.
With Points Prizes operated by a 100% legal company, recognized by millions of survey takers, and having a robust record of actually paying members who participate in activiti4es in the platform, there’s no doubt that it is a legit online rewards site.
Is PointsPrizes safe
Yes, PointsPrizes is also safe. When using reward sites, one important consideration is safety. Reward sites typically require users to submit some sensitive information such as personal data (sometimes even credit card details). Needless to say, users will want such sensitive information adequately protected, and prevented from leaking out to unauthorized third parties. Thus, the ideal reward site should be both legit and safe.
Thankfully, there is no doubt that PointsPrizes ticks this box. One of the great things about using PointsPrizes is that the reward site can be used with total anonymity. Unlike other reward sites that’ll want everything about you if they’re to pay you when using PointsPrizes, there’s absolutely no requirement to provide any personal details such as name, address, date of birth, etc. As we’ll find later, the only personally-identifying information that Points Prize require is your email address; and it says this is just so that it is able to get in touch with you.
[button link=”https://www.topreviewssite.com/Visit/pointsprizes/” size=”large” target=”new” text_color=”white” color=”green”]VISIT POINTSPRIZES NOW[/button]
Since PointsPrizes does not collect sensitive data in the first, it is not even a question of whether it can adequately protect the sensitive data that users share with it. So, in terms of whether users’ sensitive information can be compromised, there is no doubt that PointsPrizes is safe.

Making Money with Points Prizes
Just as it is with every rewards platform, to use Points Prizes for making money online, you’ll have to register. However, it is relatively easy to sign up with Points Prizes. In fact, its sign up process is too simplistic by many standards.
In the Points Prizes website, you’ll find a Login/ Register section; simply submit your email address, and hit go. That’s it; you don’t even need to nominate a password. After submitting your email address, points Prizes will send you an email to confirm your email address, which you can simply do by clicking on the link in the message. To log in at any time, you’ll only have to submit your email address and your account area will open, and you can dive into earning points. In the over simplicity of Points Prizes, confirming your email address is not even mandatory.
Points Prizes explains its simplistic “no-password” model saying it wants to make everything super convenient; adding that you won’t have to nominate new password that you may forget, or submit old passwords that may compromise your other accounts.
However, we know that passwords serve some important purpose. It is to prevent all Tom, Dick and Harry from accessing an individual’s account. Thus, not many users were comfortable with the “no-password” model of Points Prizes. Points Prizes did listen to users’ feedback, because in its recent upgrades, it added the possibility of adding passwords to accounts. If you choose to have a password for your account, you can now create one. Simply go to your account settings, and find the “Add account Password” section.
Also, when we created an account for the purpose of this review, we didn’t find anything like a welcome bonus. The welcome bonus is usually a nice feature of rewards sites as users like that they can earn something from the bat (even without having completed any earning activity). However, such a good start to your earning journey in rewards site is not provided by Points Prizes.
Other Features
Availability
Everyone wants the online side hustle that’ll put some extra money into their pocket from time to time. However, rewards sites often have country restrictions; making world-facing reward sites very appealing.
Points Prizes comes out strong in this regards. Points Prizes says that it “believes that everyone should be able to earn free prizes online, regardless of which country they live in”. As such it accepts membership from persons in virtually every area of the world.
However, where you are resident will greatly affect your success in the platform. Points Prizes clearly states that you’re likely to have plenty of good offers available to you if you live in a wealthy country like the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, or Australia; and that Countries like France, Germany, and the Netherlands might be considered halfway inside the first group. It adds that if you are resident outside these premium areas, advertisers will have less interest in you, and not many offers will be available to you to convert to earnings.
Also, Points Prizes does not have any age restrictions. It is unique in this as we’ve reviewed scores of reward sites and there are always age restrictions. This means that Points Prizes is truly a reward site for everyone – no matter the location or age. However, persons under 18 years cannot enter into legally binding contract with PayPal. So, if you’re under 18, you’re welcome to use Points Prizes (albeit withdrawing via PayPal will not be possible).
Mobile Availability
Mobile devices are taking over as the choice devices for accessing the internet; their portability means that you can browse on the go wherever and whenever. Thus, the ideal reward site must be compatible with mobile devices to allow earning money online whenever and wherever.
Thankfully, Points Prizes ticks this box. First, the website is fully mobile optimized. Not only can you fire up the website using mobile web browsers; but when you do, its web pages resize to fit the small screens of your portable devices. Secondly, Points Prizes has developed mobile apps for Android and iOS devices. With mobile apps, you’ll get relatively fast access, as well as personalized service.
Thus, if you want a rewards site that gives an optimized mobile experience, Points Prizes is one such platform.
Earning Potential
Points Prizes says it “does not make false promises, or pretend to be able to generate free gift cards out of thin air”. So while it is a legit site that pays members; it definitely will not be paying you for doing nothing. You’ll only get paid when you complete earning activities in the site. That said; you’ll want these activities to be many, so that you can maximize your earnings. Thankfully, Points Prizes does relatively well in this regards, as it offers paid surveys, offers, and more
Paid Surveys
Surveys always wear the crown as the main earning activity in rewards sites; and it is not different in Points Prizes. Still wondering why you’ll get paid for answering survey questions and simply giving your opinion? This is because big brands need consumer insight to drive product and service improvement and development. However, this does not come easy. These brands engage rewards sites, to organize surveys in order to collect the needed data. The reward sites get paid for delivering the needed data, and they pay members that participates in the surveys a portion.
That said, you’ll want to find a lot of survey opportunities, and Points Prizes does well in this regards. It provides surveys from different survey routers. How much you can earn from a completed survey will depend on the length of the survey, but on the average, it can be about 40 points.
However, you should know that you will not qualify for every survey. Usually, surveys are targeted at particular profiles, and unless you match the targeted profile, you’ll be disqualified and not allowed to take the survey to completion. For example, you shouldn’t expect to answer a survey targeted at teens if you’re out of the teenage years.
Paid Offers
Another way to earn in Points Prizes in its Offer Wall. Like in every reward site, you’ll find that Points Prizes has partnered with many of the popular Offer Walls. These include AdGate, Adscend, Wannads, Offer Toro, Peanut Labs, and more.
These OfferWalls can best be described as reward platforms within a reward platform. They are third party platforms that bring their own range of offers to Points Prizes. If you click on an offer, you’ll be taken to the third-party page to complete the offer before being redirected to Points Prizes.
The offers vary; some will require you to visit some sites and sign up, others will require you to download certain apps, others will require you to try out products/ services for free, and more.
Also what you’ll earn from the offers vary, ranging from relatively small to relatively huge. However, the bulk of the latter (offers with relatively high payouts) will require you to make a purchase, or to join a free trial that’ll automatically upgrade you to a paid subscription after the trial period.
Watching Videos
Many reward sites are making it possible for their members to earn by watching videos; it is the same with Points Prizes. Reward sites are able to pay members for simply watching videos because big brands pay these sites to show their content to people; so if you participate and view the content, the site will reward you with a portion of the commission it receives.
These videos cover a range of categories, including interesting topics such as movie trailers, celebrity news, and more. You’ll need to sign up with Hideout.tv, and sync your account with Points Prizes.
However, these paid videos usually have relatively low payouts (many of the videos will pay you only 1 point for watching), so they do not come out as good earning activities. In fact, some will even argue that the videos are not worth watching except you’ll want to watch them in the first place. More so, there is a daily limit to how many points you can make from watching video (500 points).
Playing Games
For different reasons, people play games. While punching away and catching you fun in game-plays, you can as well be earning some money. This is because Points Prizes pays you simply to play online games.
Interestingly, the games you’ll find in its games section include some very interesting games that you’ll find engaging and fun. However, like many of the offers, you’ll only be getting a few points for playing games.
However, many of the games have level requirement; that is, you’ll be required to play the game up to a certain level before you can earn from playing the game. So, you’ll need some long hard game-play to earn anything from it. This means playing games is not one of the best ways to earn, except you already want to play games in the first place. Also, bonus points you can earn from playing games are limited to 750 points.
Daily Poll
Another way you can earn in Points Prizes is via its Daily Polls. This is a unique feature of Points Prizes. The Daily Polls are short questions that are featured in Points Prizes on a daily basis; you can quickly answer them, and you’ll earn 5 points per day from the poll.
Coupons
Another way you can earn via Points Prizes is its coupon. Points Prizes often distribute coupons to social media influencers and affiliate partners to help them promote the reward site. You can find coupons simply by searching the web.
If you find any, you can redeem by visiting the “Use Coupon” tab inside your account; and your points will be credited to your account. However, Points Prizes do not intend that Coupon is the only way you earn points, so it caps how much you can earn from coupon to 500 points.
Referral Program
One of the best ways to earn in reward sites is via their referral programs because these programs allow users to earn without them having to complete activities. That is, you’ll not do anything, but the points will drop into your account.
Of course, you’ll have to spread your referral link. Referral bonus is earned when users sign up and earn points having arrived at Points Prizes via your link. The Points Prizes referral bonus is 10% of qualifying earnings of your referrals. For example, if your referral earns 3,000 points, you’ll be rewarded with 300 points as referral points.
In addition to the Referral Points, Points Prizes also awards Referral Bonus Points for every valid account that clicks on your referral link and proceed to sign up. Such a bonus point awarded is between 1 and 10, depending on traffic quality. For this, Points Prizes advice is that you should target users from United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and Northern Europe; as it is referrals from these regions that can maximize your earnings from the referral program.
Getting Paid
Payment Proofs
Points Prizes does pay its members, and there are lots of payment proofs to that effect. In the Points Prizes website, you’ll find tons of payment proofs screenshots. If you’re one that does not believe self-published payment proofs, a little web search will give you payment proofs in many independent sources, including lots of payment proof videos by different YouTubers.
However, it should be known that Points Prizes will not make you rich, or make you enough money to quit your 9 to 5 job. At best, you’ll be earning some extra income to supplement whatever comes from your regular sources. That said; if you are very active on the site, you can expect to earn a few tens of dollars.
Payment Threshold
One of the most important considerations when planning to use a reward site is payment threshold. Users will want to know how much they will earn before they’ll be able to request payment. You’ll want the minimum cash-out amount to be as low as possible so that you can cash out as fast as possible.
In Points Prizes, the minimum payment amount is $20 for direct payment methods (PayPal and Bitcoin). Users can request this minimum with 3,000 points. This will mean that 1 point is worth just $0.0066.
While it can be argued that the $20 minimum cash-out requirement of Points Prizes is low, it is definitely not one of the lowest you’ll find, especially as there are reward sites that require members to earn just $1 or $5 to request payment.
Reward Catalog
If you have earned enough points to request payment, you’ll want to find different options for getting paid. Thankfully, Points Prize ticks this box. To redeem your points, you’ll have to use the “Claim Prizes” tab in its website. The tab will open up the list of available prizes, with buttons underneath them that list the price. These prizes that you can request include Gift cards, PayPal payment, and Bitcoin payment.
The range of gift cards you’ll find in the reward catalogue of PointsPrizes number over 40, including major retailers, restaurants, gaming, entertainment, and more. Specifically, you’ll find Amazon, eBay, Walmart, iTunes, Netflix, Playstation, and more.
It should be noted that gift codes only work in the US. Thus, non-US users may have only PayPal and Bitcoin options for requesting payment. However, no problem here! Search for “rewards sites that pay with PayPal” and you’ll find that many persons seek payment via PayPal when participating in rewards sites.
Payout Speed
After managing to earn enough points, when you cash out, you’ll not want it to take forever before you receive your cash rewards or prizes. Thus, the ideal reward site should feature fast processing and issuance of payment.
Unfortunately, Points Prizes does not shine bright in this regards. When you request payment via gift cards, the eGift Card is delivered to your email associated with the platform. Points Prizes take up to 7 days to deliver gift codes. However, where direct payments are requested; Points Prizes send these within 30 days of requesting payment.
This is definitely not the fast payout processing that users want. It does not help that there are many reward sites out there that offer relatively faster payout processing, with eGift codes almost instant and PayPal within a few hours. That said, the 7 days and 30 days that Points Prizes take for eGift Cards and Direct Payments looks like an eternity.
Customer Support Service
When using an online platform, there’ll be times when you’ll have questions, and there’ll be other times when you’ll have issues with your account. Thus, the ideal online reward platform should have an effective customer support service for handling the questions and issues that its members may have.
Online platforms usually provide assistance using self-help resources as well as direct contact channels. For self-help, there is an FAQ section where you’ll find answers to many of the questions that users have asked in the past. The FAQ section is arranged by the following topics: Accounts, General, Points, Prizes & Payments, Coupons, and Referral Program.
For contact support, Points Prizes can be reached via its Facebook page and its Twitter handle. There’s also an Online Contact Form in the website that you can use to send emails to its support rep; you can also send an email directly from your email account using the email address: support@pointsprizes.com.
Points Prizes promises to respond to tickets as quickly as possible. However, if you’ll want instant feedback channels, Points Prizes supports Live Chat. The service is available from Monday to Friday between 10 am to 5 pm (GMT). However, though a good list of contact channels are supported, it is still disappointing that telephone service is not available.
PointsPrizes Complaints
The “complaints” section is always a part of our reviews. This is because what real users of a reward site have to say about it provides real insight into how well it operates. For the complaint section, we checked the independent customers’ reviews platforms, especially Trustpilot.
Interestingly, Points Prizes has very good ratings in these platforms. For example, at the time of writing this review, in Trustpilot Point Prizes had been reviewed by 707 users, and it was rated 4.6 out of 5. It had a lot of positive reviews; you’ll scroll through a sea of positives before you find a complaint. This is a good sign, as it shows that Points Prizes does a lot right. However, of the few complaints, some stood out; these include: long payment processing, and not getting credited even after surveys (and offers) are completed.
Long Payment Processing
Some users of Points Prizes complained of the waiting period from requesting payment to receiving the payment. For example:
- Dawn Majors in Trustpilot says “This site has kept my money for over a…” The review continued “…this site has kept my money for over a month. Do not waste your time. I cashed out $20 on October 21st. I was told it would take five business days; after about two weeks I emailed them multiple times in message through Facebook messenger. I was then told on Facebook Messenger 5 to 10 days. It’s now been 40 days or so and I haven’t heard anything. On Points Prizes it says it’s pending and was supposed to be released December 5th… Don’t waste your time. Now they’re ignoring me, and they won’t respond to any message on any forum”
- Steam Gayben in Trustpilot continued “Average, painfully long payout, especially if you are trying to reach over 3,000 points for some prizes options, [also] if you want to have feeling of waiting the whole month for payment delivery”
- Olajicity in Trustpilot says “It is a really good site to earn some free gift cards and other prizes for free. You have to be patient though; that’s the only downside for me. Delivery of the prizes can take a while. Most of the times around 15 days but for me, it took about 22 days. Overall pretty good”
- Nevkip in Trustpilot says “…I continuously did surveys, watched videos, and downloaded apps and was able to redeem a reward but after I redeemed my reward it took about 2 weeks to have my reward delivered”
As mentioned earlier, how long it’ll take Points Prizes to process and issue your payment (when you request it) is relatively long. Needless to say, users are not happy with the “relatively long” waiting time. That said; if you don’t mind waiting up to 7 days to get your eGift Card or up to 30 days to get Direct Payment (PayPal or bitcoin), Points Prizes is worth looking at.
Not Credited for Completed Offers
Another complaint that is found in the reviews is that sometimes after completing surveys of offers, participants are not credited with the points. For example:
- Henry in Trustpilot says “I have completed different surveys with 100% but the points are not added in my accounts”
- Pranev Aggarwal in Trustpilot says “It doesn’t add points in my account”
- OB 2 Gaming in Trustpilot says “…I do surveys and they get approved but I never get my points and now I have tried to contact them 3 times but still have not got an answer. Really bad website”
- Nevkip in Trustpilot says “The website is great but it takes a while to get your rewards. First. Some offer walls in the website don’t work, but other offer walls are very trustworthy. Sometimes you will complete an offer but you won’t get rewarded which is a downside to the website…”
It should be restated here that this complaint comes out as a small blip instead of the norm. This is because only a few non-crediting complaints are found in a sea of positive remarks of being credited for participation.
Also, it should be said this problem of “not receiving credits for completed offers and surveys” is not peculiar to Points Prizes. It is something you’ll find in virtually all rewards site. In fact, it can even be argued that it is less prevalent in Points Prizes. Also, it is not a problem of Points Prizes but a problem originating from some of the third party survey routers and Offer walls.

Conclusion
Points Prizes is a legit online rewards platform. Points Prizes does not have country restrictions or age restriction, so literally everyone from everywhere can sign up and use the platform. More so, Points Prizes offers a simplistic signup process requiring only an email address (email verification is not mandatory, and so is the creation of a password).
Also, Points Prizes comes out relatively strong as a GPT site. It offers multiple ways to earn, which includes taking surveys, completing offers, playing games, watching videos, doing Daily Polls, and more.
When it comes to getting paid, you’ll find that Points Prizes supports different payment options including over 40 gift cards, and direct payment options of PayPal and bitcoin.
However, it is not all smooth sailing with Points Prizes. The minimum cash out amount is $20 which is not the floored cash out amount that many users will want; so you may have to work relatively more in the platform before you can earn the required minimum to cash out. Also, when payment is requested it takes relatively long for it to be received.
Also, when there are issues, Points Prizes offer different support channels, ranging from the traditional email and Live Chat to social media options (Facebook and Twitter).
