Market Research is used to test products and services that we use every day.
It might be used to test opinion before launching something new, or to evaluate a product or service already available.
Research is carried out through Individual interviews or evaluations, Focus Groups, mass product testing (Hall tests, Clinics or workshops), and also through Street, Telephone and Online surveys. The purpose is to learn the public’s impression of a particular product or service so that it can be tailored to the market it is aimed at.
By taking part in a Market Research event you influence the design and quality of products and services that we all use every day. For many of these types of research there is a financial incentive offered to cover time and travel, and of course there is the satisfaction of being involved!
When you join their database they will keep you informed of Market Research events in your area and give you an opportunity to apply to take part.

Indiefield complaints and feedback
While writing this Indiefield review, we made some research to know exactly what Indiefield complaints and feedback are and we found;
one of the members who said he has been a member with Indiefield since i2007. And it took him a while to get anywhere with them in terms of really meeting their standards to qualify to participate in a survey. According to him, that has certainly improved lately. He claimed to have done quite a few number of surveys with Indiefield at that moment and was relatively happy with them and have earned around or between £100 and £200. According not him, seeing if you meet their standards is a doddle as all you need to do is answer a number of questions, and that is actually it. However, the only issue he was bit a disappointed and may be a bit sad about is that each time he participated in online surveys, he said they CC’ed him into an eMail with every other person participate, which is a breach of the Data Protection Act. But nothing seemingly ever came out of it; which may be influenced him in not reporting Indiefield to BBB. Despite this, he still recommends them.
Taking Part
Once you have become a member of The Indiefield Consumer Directory, you will be immediately eligible to take part in their fieldwork. This means that when a study is happening and their client needs to talk to someone like you, they will post details on your account so that you can apply to participate in. Points Reward System
You are currently rewarded directly when you take part in a Focus group or Depth Interview that you attend physically.
You will be sent a cheque directly for most lengthy online blogs, online focus groups, and larger surveys.
However, for smaller online / telephone surveys /blogs they are introducing a points payment system.
This means that you will accumulate points for each little survey you help them with, and when your points reach a certain value you can reclaim them as a cheque, shopping voucher, e-voucher or Paypal payment.
You can check your points at any time by logging in to your Consumer Directory record.
The points system they operate is the 1 point = 10p system. Most little surveys will have a 5 or 10 point reward, while longer surveys will have larger rewards, 20 to 50 points!
When you have accumulated 200 points (£20) you can then claim them and start accumulating again, or continue to build them up for a future occasion!
